I have decided to start posting some sequences again. So, here is the sequence from Tuesday's class at Shambhala. I do not note times or repetitions, since these sequences are for your home practice. Make them your own. Use your imagination. Add poses, omit poses, put the focus on one or two poses and move quickly through the rest of the poses. Just do some poses at home, of your own volition.

Adho Mukha swastikasana- stay stretched forward, then go over the right leg, then the left be sure to change your leg cross

The next sutra class will be May 1st , 2-4:30pm at Stillwater Yoga Studio in Midtown. We will pick up where we left off last class. Read sutras 2.7-2.15 including commentaries. Here are the contemplative questions.

How aware am I of my own fears and phobias?

How aware am I of my own attachments and aversions?

Am I trying to overcome them or justify them?

How does my imagination foster or help me diminish these klesas?

Am I attached to memories or objects from my past?

Often we are made aware of our klesas when we harm someone else in our efforts to remain in our 'safety zone.' Observe the reactions of people you are close to, your co-workers, even your pets. Is your comfort making them uncomfortable?
